Drunk Elephant Lala Retro vs Protini Review, Comparison

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro vs Protini

Our skin is constantly being damaged every day as it goes through lots of rough stuff. It’s very challenging to rejuvenate and reinforce our skin again. Moisturizer is a great way to do that. But the problem is that all moisturizers will not make your skin strengthen; rather, some moisturizers congest your pores and irritate your skin, leading to redness, acne, dark spots, etc.

But here, I will introduce two moisturizers with great ingredients that help to focus on strengthening your skin rather than hydrating it. Here I compare Drunk Elephant Lala Retro and Protini polypeptide cream. These two are excellent and almost the same, but I discussed which one is for whom and how and when to apply them with other active ingredients to get the best result.

You can trust Drunk Elephant; personally, it’s my favorite brand and is committed not to mixing any harmful ingredients with any skincare products. I am going to disclose today based on my personal experience as I have been using those moisturizers. I believe once you’re going to use it, you will fall in love with this moisturizer and brand.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro vs. Protini

I already told you that Lala retro and Protini both are mind-blowing moisturizers. I will let you know about the ingredients that they hold are good for your skin type or not. Sometimes ingredients that are good for my skin maybe not good for you. So here I explain which skin types can buy them and how and when to apply them in a proper way to get the best output. I also included my opinion on these two products. So let’s start with Protini Polypeptide cream.

Protini Polypeptide Cream Reviews

Protini Polypeptide Cream

At first glance, I fell in love with Protini Polypeptide Cream; when I saw it has nine different types of peptide complex, all are focused on strengthening my protective barrier, and there are no single harmful ingredients.

This Protini Polypeptide Cream is fantastic. I have never seen any moisturizer before. Nine different peptides will serve to your different types of damage within the skin, reinforcing your skin.

Peptides are intended to bind moisture to the skin and create a more vibrant appearance. It made my skin plump, healthy, and bouncy only within 25 days when I applied it.

It also contains pigmy water lily stem cell extract. It is a source of anti-oxidant that helps to provide a shield on your skin and protects skin from environmental aggressors.

This moisture will give you the youthful, elastic skin that we all want. But how? It contains soybean folic acid ferment extract, which increases the skin’s elasticity. Our skin becomes less flexible as we age, and the skin becomes saggy and aging. So this is very much important to choose the right moisturizer and good skin care product according to skin type.

It also has natural moisturizing agents like ceramide. Ceramides are a special gift for drier and dehydrated skin types. The specialty of ceramides is that they maintain the moisture balance and protect skin against water loss which is mind-blowing for those who have dehydrated skin.

The last key ingredient is Sodium hyaluronic cross polymer, similar to hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a magical ingredient for almost all skin types, especially for those who want a plump, bouncy, juicy skin barrier. Even if it is injectable, you can push it through injection. It will wonder you. To get more info about hyaluronic acid, you may read this.

So, this moisturizer contains this ingredient, too, which penetrates the deeper layer of the skin and provides you more lasting hydration even up to 5 to 8 hours. But if you apply it regularly for 4 to 5 months, your skin will look hydrated all time.

Lala Retro Whipped Cream

My Final verdict on Lala retro and Protini

Lala Retro is a little bit thicker than Protini but not so heavy. It is whipped cream and kind of fluffy and absorbs into the skin quickly while Protini kind of gel texture, lightweight, very clean, and milky looking. It blends into the skin very quickly.

Protini will provide a neutral pH balance skin. You will not feel greasy after applying it. Protini feels super smooth- almost like a blurring silicone primer. It feels very silicone though it doesn’t contain any. This moisturizer helps to strengthen and moisturize your skin. It is full of amino acids and peptides meant to support and prevent the breakdown of existing collagen.

You can apply Protini during the daytime, and you will not feel oily. Protini will not clog your pores; it is non-comedogenic. It is suitable for normal to oily skin, but I think everyone can use it undoubtedly as there are no harsh elements in this product.

On the other hand, Lala Retro is absolute magic for dry and dehydrated skin. If you want to lock the moisture and make your skin hydrated and smooth, you can choose Lala Retro.

By the way, If you want to know my skincare routine. I use Protini during the daytime with my Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin c serum that contains pure 5% vitamin c and is hypoallergenic. I use Lala Retro before bedtime with CeraVe retinol serum. The combination of Lala Retro and Cerave retinol serum makes my skin healthy, minimizes my pores, and reduces my acne marks.

Why I like both

I like Lala Retro and Protini because they are packaged; there is no chance of entering any nasty bacteria and air. That’s why I can say that it’s super hygienic and airless. You should pump down on it, and it dispenses through the top. The combination of the ingredients is skin-friendly, and the most critical thing is that it is cruelty-free and contains no harsh ingredients.

The most important thing about Drunk Elephant is that they don’t use any “suspicious six” in their formulas. Suspicious six means essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes, and SLS. Everyone will be happy to know that they will not damage their skin while using these moisturizers.
